Amarillo Zoo Armchair Adventure Series: Rattlesnakes- Myth VS. Reality

Well known but misunderstood, the rattlesnake has long been a persecuted fixture of the American West. Join the zoo to learn about the rattlesnake and dispel the many fallacies surrounding them and learn about their importance to the ecosystem. Free with General Admission.

The Zoo’s version of the famous New Orleans tradition of music, food, and dance – but with an animal flair. Hear the sounds of Cajun music as you sample King Cake, a Mardi Gras pastry tradition (while supply lasts). As they say in Louisiana – Le Bon Temps Roule – “Let the good times roll!”

Spring Break Safari Camp

  • March 11-March 15
  • 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Fee: $150/week
  • Ages: 7-12

Extended care is available for $25/before (7:00 am – 8:30 am) or after care (3:00 pm – 5:00 pm) per week or $50 for both. Registration is required.
