The Amarillo Police Department reports, that the victims of the fatal accident Friday around noon have been identified APD said the next of kin were notified.
The names of the victims are Bettye A. Montano, 51, and Allton J. Montano, 21.
APD said this case is still under investigation by the Amarillo Police Traffic Investigation Unit.

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Amarillo Police Department reports that two people are dead after a fatal wreck that happened on 34th Ave and Lipscomb at around noon today.
According to APD, a Dodge Durango and a Ford Mustang were going west on 34th Ave before making contact causing both vehicles to roll. Police on the scene told our crews that two passengers in the Durango died at the scene and one other person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
APD continued saying that those in the Mustang sustained minor injuries and the vehicle caused minor damage to a home.
The Amarillo Police Department said the crash is still under investigation.

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Amarillo Police Department reported that traffic is blocked in all directions at 34th Avenue and Lipscomb due to a crash.
APD detailed that responders are at the scene of the two-vehicle accident where at least one person was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
