AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — If you have seen any classic western movies or shows than you know the one with the fastest hand is the winner.
The National Championship Cowboy Fast Draw returned to Amarillo for this weekend.
Competitors were decked out in full 1800s western outfits.
The event during the cattle drive yesterday by having a shoot out in locations like the chamber of commerce and Six Car Pub and Brewery.
“It’s pretty cool, it’s good for the town. We enjoy doing this and it’s a lot of fun, just getting out, getting together. And people are here from all over the country. So it’s a good time to meet with friends and see people you don’t see all the time,” Jerome Price, president of the Texas Panhandle Pistoleros.
