The Amarillo Fire Department is announcing a partnership with the American Red Cross in a smoke alarm installation program.
Both organizations have operated their own smoke alarm programs, but are now teaming up in an effort to better serve the citizens of Amarillo.
According to AFD, the partnership will increase the number of smoke alarms able to be installed in the City of Amarillo and individual residences.
With this program, alarms will be provided at no cost and installed on request.
Requests for smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms can be made to the American Red Cross Serving the Texas Panhandle at 806-376-6300, or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
