Northwest Texas Healthcare System deploys seven crew members to help in recovery efforts following Hurricane Harvey.

Two pilots, four crew members, and one mechanic will rotate 12-hour shifts to transport patients who are brought in by ground ambulance services to other tertiary care facilities.

The will be no impact on the High Plains, according to Northwest officials, with LIFESTAR Fixed Wing leaving. LIFESTAR will still have 2 fully functional staffed helicopters with additional support from our sister company- Med-Trans.
