League of Women Voters Distribute Voters Guide


Members of the League of Women Voters have been distributing 4,000 Voters Guides for the Nov. 6 General Election.

The 20-page guide has been distributed throughout the Amarillo and Canyon area over the past few days. The nonpartisan guides are free and available to the public, according to Alan Abraham, LWV distribution chairman.

The guide was published jointly by the LWV of Texas Education Fund and the Amarillo LWV and it contains answers to League questions by both Democrat and Republican candidates.

Early voting dates, times, and locations are listed in the guide. It also provides information about the Canyon Independent School District’s $196,700,000 bond issue.
