Lawsuit Filed Against Billy Ivy, Jr. and Anthony Richards in Pregnant Woman’s Death

The man arrested for the murder of, and the man law enforcement believe to be a person of interest in the death of Charlesetta Telford in June 2016 have been sued.

Billy Ivy, Jr. and Anthony Richards are accused in the suit of conspiring to assault and murder Telford.

The person representing the estate of Telford claims in court documents that Telford and Ivy were in a relationship prior to her death and that she was pregnant.

In testimony in federal court last year in a separate case, agents testified that Ivy was believed to be a person of interest in her murder, and possibly the father of Telford’s unborn child.

Ivy has not been charged with any crime in relation to Telford’s murder.

Anthony Richards, 31, was arrested earlier this year and charged with the murder of Telford and her unborn child.

The lawsuit is seeking more than $1 million in monetary damages.
