Klein Investigations and Consulting is reporting that letters were sent to the defense bar in Hemphill County Texas from county attorney Kyle Miller and 31st District Attorney Franklin McDonough indicating Sheriff Nathan Lewis and deputy Pine Gregory were under investigation by the The Texas Rangers.

Klein Investigations says they have no comment to the specifics of the investigation, “however, we will repeat what we have previously stated which is Hemphill County has a serious political problem that the voters must face.”

Klein Investigations and Consulting was brought to Canadian by the family of Thomas Brown, who went missing in November 2016.

Brown’s remains were found on January 9 of this year near Lake Marvin.

According to Klein Investigators, Brown’s remains were found off Lake Marvin Rd., near Lake Marvin, about 19 miles east of Canadian.

Brown went missing on Nov. 23, 2016. Dissatisfied with the sheriff’s investigation, Brown’s family hired Klein Investigations & Consulting to aid in the search.

There is a fund set up to help pay for Klein Investigations & Consulting as the investigation continues. The fund is under Moms4Tom at Happy State Bank 200 Main St Canadian, TX 79014, 806-323-2265. Or you can go into any Happy State Bank to donate.

Brown’s case is still under investigation.
