Katy ISD teacher with Panhandle ties charged with Possession of Child Pornography

Borger ISD has confirmed Bradley Britton was also a teacher/coach for Borger ISD from July 27, 2017 until June 2, 2018 when his resignation was dated. 

ORIGINAL: 

A former Hereford and Amarillo teacher and coach was arrested and charged with Possession of Child Pornography on Friday, May 24, 2019.

At the time of his arrest, he worked for Katy ISD in Katy, Texas.

Britton’s bail was set at $15,000 when he was booked into Fort Bend County Jail on Friday.

KAMR Local 4 News reached out to Hereford ISD superintendent Sheri Blankenship, who confirmed Britton’s employment. “I am able to confirm that Bradley Britton was a teacher/coach for Hereford ISD from August 6, 2010 until his voluntary resignation dated May 31, 2013. He taught social studies and coached girls basketball.”

On Amarillo ISD’s website, Britton is listed as a coach for Mann Middle School back in 2013 and 2014. We reached out to AISD for a statement, who responded, confirming that Bradley Britton was employed as a teacher and coach at Mann Middle School and Palo Duro High School from August 2013 to May 2017.
