The Junior Livestock Show took place at the Tri-State Fairgrounds today.
There was a rabbit show that began at 7 p.m. and the steers, sheep, and swine showed throughout the day.
The kids put in hard work and a lot of time with the animals preparing for this show.
“It is a lot of work, you have to put in a lot of time after school,” Rainie Clark, a cattle and pigs showwoman stated. “For cattle, it takes a long time to get their hair just right. You have to blow them out. Then a pig, you brush them off and put water all over them.”
The animal sale begins tomorrow.
