CLOVIS - A new judge is appointed to the mass shooting case involving a Clovis teenager.
Judge James Hudson from the Fifth Judicial District Court in Roswell will now preside over the proceedings for Nathaniel Jouett, 16.
Hudson was appointed after all local judges recused themselves from the case.
The teenager faces dozens of charges including two counts of murder.
Jouett is accused of shooting six people at the Clovis Carver Library back in August.
Two people were killed and four others were injured.
Jouett is being tried as an adult.
