Want to make your own gooey, spooky mess? All it takes is some glue, baking soda, and contact solution.
Make sure you get contact solution with boric acid. The boric acid is what makes the concoction slimy.
Combine the three ingredients in a bowl:
One 6-ounce bottle of elmer’s glue
1/2 tablespoon baking soda
1 1/2 tablespoons contact solution
(Add 1 tablespoon water if you want stretchier slime)
Using food coloring, you can change the color of your slime. Just add the coloring before you mix everything together. Or you can use glitter glue or glue already colored. Have fun with it!
Stir together your ingredients, and as soon as most of the liquid disappears, grab the slime by hand and start kneading it. You want to knead the mix until it’s not as sticky. If it sticks to your hands…Just keep kneading!
Continue working the slime until you can form it into any shape you want. You may have to knead it for a long time. If it feels too sticky, add more contact solution. Eventually it will stop sticking to your hands.
You then have your slime!
Have some fun with your slime and throw in some googly-eyes, spiders, cock-roaches, and other creepy crawlies!
