Hollywood Minute: “Star Wars,” Rihanna, And A Walk Of Fame Double!

News
Since the teaser trailer for “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” hit the web last week, one big question has been: is “Jyn Erso,” played by Felicity Jones, the mother of Daisy Ridley’s “Rey,” whose family in “The Force Awakens” is a big mystery?

They look somewhat alike but backstage at this weekend’s MTV Movie Awards, Ridley brushed off the rumor, saying “Just because she’s white and got brown hair… It doesn’t mean she’s my mom.”

Rihanna rising!

Rihanna’s “Work,” featuring Drake, is number one on Billboard’s hot 100 chart for an eighth week.

That gives her a career total of 59 weeks atop that chart, tying the Beatles for second place.

The all-time leader? Mariah Carey, 79 weeks.

Meet the two newest members of the Hollywood Walk of Fame!

Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein, co-creators of the Tony-winning Broadway show “Kinky Boots,” were honored in a rare double ceremony on Hollywood Boulevard.

Their stars are outside the Pantages theater and a historic bar called appropriately “The Frolic Room.”
