Hollywood Minute: New “Ghostbusters” Trailer Debuts


If you are a movie studio with a like/dislike problem, who you gonna call? Facebook and Twitter. 

Sony Pictures has dropped a second trailer for the new “Ghostbusters” movie exclusively on social media.

This follows a controversy in March surrounding the film’s first teaser, which went on to become the most disliked movie trailer in YouTube’s history.

This trailer features previously unseen footage, including shots of classic ghosts Slimer and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

“Ghostbusters” begins haunting theaters on July 15th.

Casting news: Elton John returns to the big screen!

The singer-songwriter announced via Instagram that he has joined the cast of “Kingsman: The Golden Circle.”

No word on his character, but the last time John performed in a movie role other than as himself was in the rock opera “Tommy” in 1975.

Warner Brothers has rounded up some bad guys.

The Warner Brothers Studio Tour has unveiled a new attraction: “DC Universe: The Exhibition.”

The interactive installation features props and costumes from “Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice” and this summer’s follow up film, “Suicide Squad.”

Exhibits include Harley Quinn’s hammer, Deadshot’s rifle and Jared Leto’s Joker costume.

The new tourist attraction opens May 24th.
