Pondaseta Brewing partnering with 24 Hours in the Canyon with new brew

Heart of the High Plains

The annual 24 Hours in the Canyon bike racing fundraiser is less than a month away and one local brewery is stepping up to help out in a unique way.

Pondaseta Brewing is joining forces with 24 Hours in the Canyon to raise funds for those affected by cancer, and they are doing it by doing what they do best. Brewing beer.

This evening, Pondaseta Brewing released Park Road 5 Pale Ale to the public.

100 percent of the proceeds will be donated to 24 Hours in the Canyon. Those involved told us that this is just another example of the panhandle wanting to help those in need

“We live in a very generous community. We say that every year. Our community steps up to the plate and helps us out tremendously and I think it’s interesting because you find more and more people that have been touched by cancer and they feel lead to be involved,” said 24 Hours in the Canyon Director, Ryan Parnell.

“The event started in 2007 and I actually participated in some of the earlier versions with family members doing the mountain bike race. So, for me now to be able to give back to this event is pretty exciting,” said Pondaseta Brewing Co-Founder and Brewer, Kaleb West.

This is a limited release so once it’s gone it will not be back until next year
