Healthy Diet Can Suppress Symptoms Of Depression


Adopting a healthy diet may be the key to easing symptoms associated with depression.

This, according to a new study published Tuesday in the journal “Psychosomatic Medicine.”

By using health data from nearly 46,000 participants, researchers found that various diets linked to weight loss, fat reduction and high nutrient density all pointed toward benefits in reducing symptoms of depression.

These findings, however, didn’t show any drastic reduction when it came to lowering symptoms of anxiety.
