Health Alert: Polio Cases Have Decreased By More Than 99 Percent


The UN releasing some optimistic news on worldwide Polio cases.

A new report shows that the disease has basically been eradicated with the number of cases dropping by 99 percent since the 1980s.

In 1988, polio led to over 350,000 people across the globe to become paralyzed.

Officials credited an increase in immunization and awareness over the past two decades as a direct result of this significant drop.
