March for Babies
You can help fight for the health of moms and babies this weekend during this year’s March for Babies.
Tomorrow is March of Dimes‘ biggest fundraiser of the year.
It is a day for the community to band together to fight for the health of moms and babies by raising funds for research, education, and advocacy.
Registration is at 8:30 a.m.
The walk starts at 10 a.m. tomorrow at Town Square Village.
The walk will finish at Air U trampoline with time to jump and enjoy hamburgers and hotdogs
Earth Day at the Amarillo Zoo
Visitors will be able to learn about environmental issues impacting us right here at home as well as globally.
You will have the chance to get tree seedlings, make a bird feeder stick and chat with zookeepers while there too.
That event is from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow.
If you are ready to get your garden going, the Botanical Gardens is ready to help.
This weekend they are hosting Gardenfest.
There will be multiple booths set up at the event where visitors can get plants, seedlings, and seeds from 27 different vendors.
There will also be natural soaps, pottery and other fun things available.
