The company filed for bankruptcy in January and according to a bankruptcy court document, The Children’s Place and Gap are swooping in to pick up the pieces.
Children’s Place reportedly will buy the Gymboree and Crazy Eight brands.
While Gap will acquire the more upscale Janie and Jack brand.
The deal still needs court approval.
Gap’s move to buy Janie and Jack follows its announcement last week that it plans to spinoff Old Navy into a separate company.
Meanwhile, it’s a busy week for retail earnings: Target, Kohl’s, and Ross stores release their quarterly results on Tuesday.
They are followed by Dollar Tree, Kroger, and Costco later in the week.
