The Cat in the Hat has come to town and tonight he will be Bulls bound!
Panhandle PBS has partnered with the Amarillo Bulls for a special VIP event tonight where families can skate and party with the famous cat before tonights Bulls game.
“The Cat is Coming to Town” tour is to help raise awareness for the show “The Cat in the Hat Knows a lot About That,” which teaches kids about science and the joy of reading.
“He’s been a popular character, he’s not scary like some other characters might be, and it’s a generational character that everybody likes,” said Jack Light with Panhandle PBS. “Whether it’s kids or adults they know him they know the stories, Things One and Thing Two and all those, sadly they’re not coming tonight.”
VIP tickets for tonight’s event are $25 and include admission to the open skate, the Suessville meet and greet, and the 7 p.m. game.
