Here’s a “wild” idea.
The government wants to pay you to adopt a horse.
Do you think you have what it takes to train and raise a wild horse?
The Bureau of Land Management is offering up to one thousand dollars to people adopting up to four wild horses or burros.
The department reportedly seeing a growing issue with over-population of these wild species adding that there are close to 50,000 horses under the agency’s care.
The horses- found mostly in California and Nevada- will not be handed out to just anyone.
You must be over 18 years old, have space and resources to care for the animal, and have no convictions of inhumane treatment of animals.
