Five People Arrested After Trying to Sneak Drugs Into Curry County Jail

Five people are arrested after investigators say they tried to sneak drugs into the Curry County Jail.

James Duden, 74, Kimberly Moore, 35, Holley Quintana, 35, D’nisha Carver, 24, and Ruby Rodriguez, 35, are charged with Trafficking or Conspiring to Traffic either a form of opioid or methamphetamine.

Investigators say Kimberly Moore conspired to have the drugs delivered to her in jail.

They say she believed she recruited a detention officer to help, but he told investigators.

The alleged incident happened earlier this month.
