An update to a story we brought you last week we now know how two Clovis men died.

It happened on the morning of April 20th when Clovis Police responded to an apartment in the 1000 block of Martin Luther King Boulevard where a man had been shot in the back.

When police arrived, 43-year-old David Lopez was found dead from that wound.

During that call officers were also called to a vehicle near the intersection of Aspen Street and MLK Boulevard where they found 25-year-old Carlos Gallegos deceased from a stab wound to the neck.

After questioning witnesses about what happened, they learned the two men had been in a fight over marijuana.

Clovis Police determined that both deaths were connected to that fight.

There are no other suspects in that investigation.
