Federal Judge Indicts Several People for Drugs and for Fraud

AMARILLO - Two people in Amarillo are indicted on two counts related to possessing meth.

A federal judge indicted Domingo Miranda-Chavez and Alejandra Sanchez for conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine.
 
Both people were also charged with attempted possession with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine.

The same federal judge indicts two more people. This time for fraud.

Thomas Clark and Karen Jones are charged with 12 counts of health care fraud and aiding and abetting.

They're also charged with misprison of a felony.

 

According to court documents, Clark operated a chiropractic clinic without a license while Jones helped him bill insurance companies on the clinic's behalf.
