The Family Support Services is hosting its 10th Annual Mardi Gras Party.
The Mardi Gras Party is on Saturday, Feb. 16 from 7 p.m. and goes until 11 p.m. It is being held at the Amarillo Civic Center in the Heritage Room.
Cajun cuisine will be prepared by chefs Delvin Wilson and Alfonso Armstrong and served to guests.
The music entertainment will be by the Velvet Funk Band and there will be casino games for guests to play.
In the party, there will be a Mardi Gras store with fancy beads, masks, hats, boas and more.
The proceeds of this event will help Family Support Services serve 25,000 people a year in the intervention and prevention of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking. The organization also offers veteran resources, emergency safe housing, behavioral health and wellness, family strengthening and prevention education.
