The Education Foundation of Canyon ISD provided grants to local schools to help cover the costs of some of their supplies.

In total, eight grants were approved and delivered to those schools today.

Crestview and Reeves-Hinger received two grants, and Canyon Intermediate, Randall High, and Gene Howe received one.

“It’s not just going to make their day, it is going to make their year, and the impact is not for the teacher, it is for the student,” said Reeves-Hinger Elementary Principal Nicole Johnson. “So, I am so excited, not just that we can provide these for our kids, but that we have an organization like the Education Foundation that sees the benefit of giving back to our students.”

The Education Foundation of Canyon ISD helps teachers get essential supplies they might not normally be able to purchase for their classrooms.
