DPS seized three pounds of meth Thursday after a traffic stop in Carson County.
At 3:18 p.m., a DPS Trooper stopped a 2015 Chevrolet passenger car traveling east on I-40 near Conway, for a traffic violation. The Trooper then discovered meth wrapped in a clear trash bag inside a cardboard box on the floorboard.
The driver was arrested and charged with felony possession of a controlled substance. The driver was transported and booked into the Carson County jail.
The drugs were allegedly being transported from Tucson, Arizona to Oklahoma City.
One man is dead after being shot earlier today.
