The Texas Rangers are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Stratford.
It happened at around 7:30 last night when a Stratford police officer identified a stolen vehicle heading east on US-54.
Officials said the officers were able to pull the vehicle over at a convenience store, but while making an arrest of the driver and his passenger, both officers fired their weapon, hitting the driver.
The 22-year-old male has not been identified but died from his injuries.
His 24-year-old passenger was taken into custody without incident.
Texas Rangers are still investigating.
