A now a story about a dog and its incredible journey.

The dog was first seen paddling in the ocean by an oil rig crew in the gulf of Thailand.

The rig is 135 miles offshore.

Vitisak Payalaw said on his Facebook page that the dog was discovered April 12 swimming to the oil platform.

Workers were able to get a rope around its neck and pull it to safety.

The dog, now named, “Survivor,” was celebrated by everyone on the rig.

The pooch didn’t like the Lei but sure liked the food and water it received.

Workers believe the dog fell off a fishing boat and survived because the gulf was calm that day.

The dog was taken in by an animal rescue group after it was taken to the mainland on April 15.

It’s been checked out and is in good shape after the ordeal.
