Daisy Strout Remembered on the Anniversary of Her Death

Six years after an Amarillo woman is run over and killed by her boyfriend, he still spends one day in jail.
Michael Buse is ordered to spend today day in jail after admitting to killing his then girlfriend, Daisy Strout in 2010.
Strout’s family and friends also remembered her, today, where she was killed at 15th and Georgia.
They had a candlelight vigil and balloon release.
They also decorated a pole on that corner with pink items in remembrance of Strout and her life.
The plea deal with Buse was made in 2012.
He served 111 days in jail and will serve a one day sentence for nine years.
Today marked the sixth year since Strout’s death.
