A criminal complaint has been filed against two men in federal court for allegedly trafficking heroin.
The complaint filed in the Northern District of Texas states the two men were pulled over on May 9th of this year for a traffic violation on I-40 in Potter County.
During the stop, Potter County deputies noticed “indicators of possible criminal activity.” There was the smell of burnt marijuana and inconsistencies in their travel plans and the purpose of their travel.
During the investigation, law enforcement found two vacuum-sealed bundles inside a punching bag which tested positive for heroin.
The men were reportedly paid $500 to transport the drugs to Oklahoma City.
