Not Seeking Medical Attention
A new study finds many families are avoiding medical attention due to the cost.
According to results of a study released by bankrate.com today, over the past year, one in four American families have decided not to seek medical attention when they needed it because of the expense.
Older millennials, those ages 27 to 36, were the most likely to do this.
The study also found more than half of Americans, or 56 percent, are worried they may not have affordable health insurance in the future.
More Sears/Kmarts Closing
According to a new business insider report, 72 additional Sears and Kmart stores are shutting down this year.
That’s on top of the 180 closures announced a few months ago.
According to the report, most of the stores are scheduled to close in September.
Both chains have struggled to compete with online retailers from California to Georgia to New Jersey and in many small towns to big cities in between.
What Most Dads Want
If you’re still looking for that perfect gift for a dad for father’s day; you may just want to give him some quality time alone.
According to this year’s father’s day survey by cash back shopping site Ebates, 87 percent of dads are wishing for some “me” time to enjoy activities without the kids.
But if you don’t want to leave dad alone, the survey found the next best thing would be electronics, followed by power tools, tickets to a sporting event or outdoor equipment.
