It is an opportunity to feel confidence, excitement, and dignity thanks to a mini-wardrobe in a bag.
More panhandle kids are going to to get to experience that thanks to Colorful Closets of Amarillo.
Tonight, supporters joined for a colorful happy hour in downtown Amarillo to support the non-profit.
The event featured a kids style show where children wore looks styled from the gently worn clothes available at the closet.
“That will to fill in our gaps, new socks, new underwear in every bag that we use we want to present it like a gift,” said Lindsey Wing, Co-Founder of Colorful Closets.
Colorful Closets collect, sorts, and distributes new and gently-used clothes to kids in need.
In the last year, the group has clothed more than 800 kids.
