Clovis Man Declared Guilty of Possessing Controlled Substance and Shoplifting


In New Mexico, a Clovis man is declared guilty of possessing a controlled substance and shoplifting.

The verdict was handed to 42-year-old Bernardo Baca by Ninth Judicial District Attorney Andrea Reeb.
According to documents, the crime happened at the beginning of this year on January 4, at a Hobby Lobby.
Police say outstanding warrants were issued for Baca, and that he stole paint pens from the store.
Officers also say they found him in possession of methamphetamine.
Baca faces up to six years behind bars.
