(NBC News) Hillary Clinton argued Thursday she can be trusted to lead America in an uncertain world, and Donald Trump can’t.
“Donald Trump’s ideas aren’t just different, they are dangerously different, they are dangerously incoherent,” Clinton told supporters.
The former Secretary of State offered sharp contrasts: Her experience against what she says is Trump’s unpredictability, and unfitness to lead.
“It’s not hard to imagine Donald Trump leading us into a war just because somebody got under his very thin skin,” she added.
It was a speech Trump knew was coming.
Speaking in Sacramento, he hit her hard on issues ranging from trade to terror.
“Her decisions on Syria, Iraq and Iran have made the Middle East more dangerous than ever, ever before,” Trump said.
Meanwhile, Trump’s campaign received long-awaited, if grudging support from House Speaker Paul Ryan, who tweeted he’ll vote for Trump this fall.
