Clay Elliot Wins Big at Rodeo Houston

Oklahoma Panhandle State Senior Clay Elliot spurred his way to one of the biggest victories of his career on Saturday, March 19.

Elliot was crowned the 2016 Rodeo Houston Super Series Champion in the classic event of saddle bronc riding.

It was a battle for Elliot to make it into the final round. After winning the wildcard round, Elliot was tied with another rider. So in Rodeo Houston style, the tie-breaker was a ride-off. The Canadian found himself on top after the ride-off, riding on top of a horse from the Calgary Stampede.

Elliot wins over $50,000 from his finish at Rodeo Houston. He also won the 2015 Collegiate National Championship in bronc riding.
