City of Amarillo Hosts Teen Career and Job Fair

AMARILLO - Young people in our area were able to get a head start on their job search at the 4th annual Teen Career and Job Fair.

The City of Amarillo hosted the event for 15 to 24-year-olds in the Texas Panhandle to help them plan for their futures.

It took place at the Amarillo Civic Center's South Exhibit Hall, where young people were able to speak to more than 30 employers, colleges and community organizations.

Attendees were also able to find out about jobs, internships, and volunteer opportunities and even fill out job applications on the spot.

More than 300 teens and young adults attended last year's event.
