The city approved an agreement with Potter and Randall Counties to appoint and fund night magistrates.
Their job will be to review affidavits for search and arrest warrants after-hours when police call and ask for them.
Potter and Randall Counties along with the city each put up $15,000 to pay for those positions.
They will be chosen by Judge Sonya Letson.
