Cervical Cancer Awareness Month

News

January is Cervical Cancer Awareness Month. It is a chance to raise awareness about how women can protect themselves from HPV and Cervical Cancer.

Regular Pap tests are the best way to detect cervical cancer in its earlier stage. Current guidelines recommend females between the ages of 21-65 should be screened every three years; between the ages of 30-65, co-testing (pap and HPV) are recommended every five years.
