Car Buying Could Be Getting More Expensive

New tariffs on foreign-made cars and parts could affect your sticker price.

President Trump is deciding whether to add a 20 to 25 percent tariff on foreign cars and foreign car parts after receiving a report from the Commerce Department on the threat foreign vehicles pose on national security.

The tariff would also pose a threat to vehicles assembled in the u-s, running the risk of moving the plants overseas.
