        We eat protein for our muscles and calcium for our bones.  Everything we eat affects our bodies. The saying, “You are what you eat,” holds true. But what about our brains? It, too, needs specific nutrients. Luckily, these nutrients can be found in foods we already eat, and they happen to be delicious as well. So if you’re looking for a boost to your brain power, there are foods that will certainly boost your memory and mental sharpness.

Memory Boosting Foods:
– Eat your veggies-getting adequate vegetables especially cruciferous ones can help improve memory.
– Bump up the Cherries and Berries- Choose dark berries and cherries because they are a rich source of anthocyanins and flavonoids that help boost memory function
– Eat More Omega-3 fatty acids- Omega-3 fatty acids are essential for brain health.  Seafood like salmon and tuna are great options and well as plant based options like flax and chia.
