Heavy construction equipment began arriving in South Texas’ Rio Grande Valley as the U.S. Government prepares to begin construction of more border walls and fencing.
This video shows heavy machinery, including bulldozers, arriving in the area where the proposed border wall is expected to be built.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials say they intend to start building this month on federally owned land.
Last year Congress approved more than $600-million for 33 miles of new barriers in the Rio Grande Valley.
