The man at the center of a murder-for-hire investigation made his first appearance in federal court today.

Billy Glenn Ivy, Jr, 49, wearing the red and white striped jumpsuit was formally arraigned on two gun charges.

As part of the murder-for-hire investigation, police allegedly found an unregistered firearm and a silencer without a serial number at Ivy’s home.

Along with the federal gun charges, Ivy is also accused of trying to hire someone to kill his wife’s boyfriend, arson, and tampering with a witness.

According to court documents, Ivy is also the prime suspect in the disappearance Nicole Moore, 28, who was allegedly supposed to meet Ivy on the day she went missing.

He’s also been implicated in last year’s murder of Charlesetta Telford who was allegedly four months pregnant with Ivy’s child at the time of her death.
