Bill's Backyard Classic Cars go up for auction

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) - Bill's Backyard Classics announced plans this afternoon for a collection of vehicles to be sold at auction at the Mecum Dallas 2018 which will take place October 3 to 6 at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center.

Bill and Linda Pratt came up with Bill's Backyard Classics after selling their successful business in 2012.

Bill set out to find a car or two to add to his modest collection. While Bill was searching for just the right cars, he realized that the same passion he shared for vintage cars was common among various people. After discussing it with his wife, Linda, the two had decided that Amarillo needed more family entertainment options and with people's love for vintage cars, Bill's Backyard Classics was born.

The Pratt's search continued. From Texas to Canada, California to the Carolinas, Bill and Linda searched all over the country for cars and trucks to show in their museum.

Today, the collection is the largest private car collection in the area.

More information on these and other vehicles to be offered at Mecum Dallas 2018 can be found at
