New moms can come up with some doozies. Does taping a coin to a belly button make an outie go in? Can I chew my baby’s food for him? In a new survey by Perrigo Nutritionals, pediatricians revealed those are just some of the more surreal questions they are asked by new moms. And how exactly are millennial moms and doctors, changing the face of the age-old baby checkup?
Nearly all pediatricians (96%) say feeding is the number one question they get from new moms. When it comes to questions about formula feeding older pediatricians have different views than their younger counterparts.
Dr. Jamie Wells, board certified pediatrician and child expert discusses the survey findings as well as how new moms can make the most of those first few trips back to the doctor.
