Around a hundred people will head to Austin tomorrow to represent the High Plains.
They’re going for Panhandle Days, a bi-annual event that allows people to share their priorities with state lawmakers.
In 2015, the event coincided with governor Abbott’s State of the State Address.
But that happened a few weeks ago, so this year’s Panhandle Days will consist of more time to meet with legislators from all parts of the state.
The group is expected to address items regarding agriculture, education, health care and transportation.
