Not just a complaint center and more than a scam reporting resource, the BBB serves the entire 26 counties of the Texas panhandle – 400,000 consumers and 30,000 businesses.
BBB responds to an average of 180,000 inquiries from individuals who ask about local businesses. Not complaints – they just wanted to know who they should do business with.
Business reports are the number one reason consumers turn to BBB.
In addition, BBB handles an average of 500 marketplace complaints per year. They help consumers understand their responsibility in a business transaction as well as helping companies to rebuild their reputation and retain their customer.
BBB checks out companies online and offline in their marketplace investigations area to help keep the local marketplace cleansed of fraud and bad business. This helps consumers get information on trustworthy businesses they can build relationships with.
On BBB’s website you can find company reports, charity reports, read complaints and reviews; those lists of companies we talked about and much more. Upcoming events and pictures from Torch Awards are also on the website.
