EARLIER INFORMATION:

We have an update the condition of a Beaver woman was injured in the mass shooting in Las Vegas Sunday night.

According to Shelby Perry's father, Dewayne Perry, the surgery was not performed today.

He said that Shelby was misdiagnosed with a broken arm when just her collarbone is broken. She also has a bruised lung.

Perry's father also said that the bullet fragmented into multiple pieces in the shoulder and chest area and there is no way to remove them.

We are told the swelling has gone down around the collarbone and the broken bone is lined up so no surgery is needed at this time.

Perry said that the current treatment plan is antibiotics and physical therapy.

Shelby Perry's father says she was attending the Route 91 Harvest Festival when she was shot.

There has been an expense and medical fund set up at the First Security Bank in Beaver.

Officials say, Stephen Paddock, 64, is the shooter. At least 59 people have died and more than 500 people were injured.
