BBB has announced four winners from area schools as BBB Students of Integrity.
An independent panel of judges selected the Student of Integrity applicants.
To be considered, applicants wrote a 1,000 essay addressing Academic Activities; Leadership Responsibilities; Community Service and Integrity in Home and/or Church and/or Work Environments following the principles in the Standards of Integrity.
The award program’s purpose is to recognize high school seniors who personify ethics in all areas of their lives.
This years winners of the 2017 BBB Students of Integrity awards are:
- Jacob Gibbs, Bushland High School
- Abby Danielle Schmucker, Nazareth High School
- Taylor Ashlyn Stallings, Friona High School
- Madison Elizabeth Woods, Higgins High School
This year’s Students of Integrity will be awarded a $2,000 scholarship each to a college or university of their choice.
“These students know that doing the right thing is important and trust and honesty do matter,” said Janna Kiehl, BBB CEO. “Students of Integrity strive to be trustworthy in all areas of their lives and they succeed with hard work and positive attitudes.”
