Arrow Child and Family Ministries Breaks Ground on New Facility

3,500 children in this area suffer from abuse and neglect, and there is a new facility to help them.

The Arrow Child and Family Ministries broke ground this week.

They took over the Panhandle Assessment Center which provides emergency shelter for children brought out of abusive homes.

Officials say normally those children have to travel far for therapy.

But they plan to build a new treatment center on-sight as well as renovate the existing facility.
